Here are some of my latest projects. It's basically just mix of everything I've done over the last couple of months.
Figure 1
Figure 1 could be a lake or a river, however you picture it. It has lighter tones and colors. It's probably one of my favorite paintings.
 Figure 2
Figure two was a loose painting with obvious dark tones.
Figure 3
Figure three is an English horse, not any particular breed. I drew it to emphasize some of the discomfort that comes with harsh hands and painful bits when riding horses.
Figure 4
Figure four is a Friesian smelling a rose. I wanted to contrast the dark and mysterious look to Friesians and the gentle reds in a rose. I couldn't get the Friesian as dark as I wanted it, but it's still a very interesting piece.
Figure 5
Figure five above and figure six below are drawings of my dog and Justin's dog. Above is Rusty, a bloodhound; and Tase, a mini Aussie.
 Figure 6
 Figure 7
Figure seven was drawn in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a drawing challenge that I drew the piece for.
 Figure 8
Figure eight is one of my favorite projects. My mom asked me to paint her a sign on a wooden board. She bought two boards to see which she liked best. She gave me the other one to do something with. I decided to paint the verse Proverbs 31:25 and then added a girl riding a horse. It's just a silhouette and I forgot to paint in her feet, but I think it's still powerful without. I plan to hang it somewhere when I get the chance. Below is what my mom's sign ended up looking like.
